About Mr. & Mrs. Habbie

The wife and I have lived in San Diego for our entire lives. She was born here, and I was born in Orange County and moved here a few days later, which in her eyes makes her a superior San Diegan. One of the absolute best things about living in San Diego, besides the perfect weather nearly year round and the mass abundance of breweries, is the absolutely ridiculous amount of great taco shops. Being so close to the Mexican border, there are some of the widest varieties of authentic Mexican cuisine all over the county. With great Taco shops, comes great hot salsas served so humbly in their little plastic Jell-O shot cups. But inside said cups, that remind you of poor choices at SDSU, is either a red, green, or sometimes orange spicy concoction of the gods. While most taco shops serve the same affair... California Burritos, Carne Asada Burritos, or the tried and true drunk food... the great full plate of Carne Asada fries, every taco shop sets themselves apart with how good their red or green hot sauce is.

The dream of this company is to bring the glory of the contents in those little plastic cups to the rest of the country, while adding a little twist to each hot sauce. I will show you my take on the classic fiery salsa Brava, or a Japanese inspired Habanero sauce that my wife can't stop drowning her breakfast burritos in. With my wife's artistic logo creation and design, extremely hard work ethic (nagging me to stop playing video games and get to work), and overall head of fully functioning brain cells, and my obsession with creating amazing tasting foods, we have created a way for everyone to experience the joy we've been so fortunate to enjoy growing up in the best damn town in the country. If you don't believe me about it being the best, just ask Ron Burgundy, for he is always correct.

Sincerely,

Mr. Habbie
